It provides training and practical tools for youth workers while actively involving young people in the design and evaluation of communication materials intended for them.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Background<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Youth organisations play an essential role in supporting young people. However, the information they provide does not always reflect the diversity of their audiences.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Complex administrative documents, technical vocabulary and poorly designed materials can create barriers to accessing rights, services and opportunities, particularly for young people facing social exclusion.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plain language helps make information easier to understand and use without changing its meaning.
