The book

Tanaka is a young Tokyo employee. Ever since he was a child, the young man has dreamed of seeing yōkai, the ghosts that populate Japanese folklore. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, these spectres are often very funny! To do so, he decides to go to a temple, inhabited by yōkai, and spend the night there.
The magic glasses inside the book reveal the ghosts hidden between the pages!

An exhibition to discover in the multimedia library

The exhibition was built as a space to enter the world of the book and its process, through the game. It offers children and adults a walk through the giant pages of the picture book. With special glasses, they will discover the yōkai hidden in the illustrations! Each panel is accompanied by a label providing background information on Japan and its culture.

The exhibition is designed to be accessible to all, with plain-language labels, a subtitled interview with the author and access to audio content via the izly.TRAVEL application.
